A small beam of light penatrated the darkness and two figures followed behinde the beam.
"Invaders..." hissed renn into the darkness. The beam of light flicked then disappeared
"argh this stupid torch... at least we have got some more batteries..." Screamed one of the figures sending the birds flying from the canopy above.
"you did bring the batteries... Didnt You?"
"eer... no.... sir..." whispered the small figure
Renn grabbed what felt like a small round stone and threw it into the distance causing a serries of sounds.
"did ya hear that?" whispered the tall figure dropping the now useless torch,
" It's the girl..." whispered the other figure.
The two men followed what they had heard into the distance.
Renn ran her hands other the wet demin of her troussers and tightened her laces And Ran down the path behinde her.
